BOARD OF DIRECTORS
DETAILS / INFORMATION:
Here are some of the Board member Positions and their
associated responsibilities
PRESIDENT / VICE-PRESIDENT -
PAID POSITION (Free entry into league and
up to a maximum of $600 total depending on performance
and League Size. Amount is divided between President
and VP.)
Monitors and oversees ALL activities with the
league. This can be a very time consuming position
if you do not have good organizational skills
or do not have a good supporting board. Responsibilities
include...
- Updating all
pages on the
website. (Does
not require
ANY programming
knowledge)
- Creating the
season and
tournament
schedule(s)
- Assigning and monitoring all other board members and/or volunteers (you can even make up new positions)
- Accepting and distributing all WAAR products (base passes, Winning Certificates, T-shirts, promo items, etc...)
- Answering all emails for the league
- Running and supervising all other aspects of the league to ensure that it runs smoothly.
SOCIAL CHAIR / TREASURER -
PAID POSITION (Free entry into league)
- In charge of coming up with new ideas to make the WAAR season fun and exciting for everyone.
- In charge of setting up and executing the mid-season party and end-of-season party
- In charge of keeping the budget (along with the President)
EQUIPMENT & RULES -
PAID POSITION (Free entry into league)
- In charge of setting up and breaking down all fields each week
- In charge of knowing all rules and will make decisions on disputes of rules
CHARITY -
PAID
POSITION (Free
entry
into
league)
- In
charge
of
selling "charity
tickets" and
promoting
events
to
help
local
selected
charities.
Other
positions
can
be
created
by trhe president
to
help
make the
league function
smoothly but
the
money
to
pay
the
individuals
will
have
to
come
out
of
the
league
budget.
It
is
recommended
that
any
other
positions
that
are
created
will
be "volunteer" positions.
